Ward 3 E-Newsletter: November 2018

Greetings Ward 3 Resident,

I hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween. Although the holiday season is close upon us, things continue to remain relatively busy here in city government as we start to prepare the 2019 City Budget. Before I get into my update for this month, I have a few quick reminders.

Election Day TODAY

Thomas Jefferson said it best “We in America do not have government by the majority. We have government by the majority who participate.” So make sure you participate and exercise your right to vote TODAY November 6th on Election Day. Polls are open from 6:30am-7:30pm today. The following places are polling locations for Ward 3 residents:

North Royalton Christian Church
5100 Royalton Rd
Voting Precinct 3A

Albion Elementary School
9360 Albion Rd
Voting Precinct 3B

North Royalton High School
14713 Ridge Rd
Voting Precincts 3C & 3D

If you are still not sure what your polling location is, then Click Here. Or call the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections at 216-443-8683.

State Issue 1
I am continuing to get questions from residents about where I stand on State Issue 1 that is on the November 6th Ballot. Click Here to read my position and other community leaders. No matter where you stand on this issue. Please make sure you do your homework before you vote. If passed State Issue 1 will be very hard to change since it is a constitutional amendment.

Veterans Day
November 12th is Veterans Day. Please join me in thanking all those who have served or are currently serving our country in the United States Military. We owe them a great debt of gratitude for all their sacrifices they have made in the defense of our great nation.

Have a great Week!Dan Langshaw

Ward 3 Resident,

Just wanted to give you a quick update on some important items and upcoming events before the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Resident Feedback Needed for Online Sidewalk Survey
On November 6th, representatives from Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency (NOACA) gave a presentation at North Royalton City Hall pertaining to the North Royalton Alternative Transportation Plan. At the end of the presentation, they distributed a survey and asked that residents complete the survey and return to NOACA. The results of the survey will assist in determining priority improvements in the city, including sidewalks. If you were unable to attend the meeting and would like to participate in the survey study, please Click Here to complete the survey. Please also share with your friends, neighbors throughout our ward, and the whole city to participate too by giving them the link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/NRTransSurvey

Ward 3 E-Newsletter: June 2014

Greetings Ward 3 Resident,

May 12th Storm Clean Up
Since the May 12th Storm I continue to remain very busy in the ward getting residents assistance and touring areas of concern. I continue to make requests to both the Service and Waste Water Departments about various areas of concern here in our ward that they will check out when possible. City crews continue to work hard in clearing remaining storm debris and addressing the most urgent storm water issues in our ward and city. Please remain patient as they have much work to do on an already long list of projects. The city is still working with County, State, and Federal Government to seek additional assistance. If you did experience damage from the storm here are three links for programs offered by the County, State, and Federal Government that you may find helpful:
