Well Mother Nature is slowly realizing it is officially Spring. Hopefully soon enough our temperatures will be in the 60s or higher and we can enjoy some good weather for a change. Regardless of the season we are in, city government remains very active with much to report below.

Greetings Ward 3 Resident,
Hope you are staying warm. Mother nature has been pretty mean with both the snow and extremely cold temperatures. At least we are getting closer to Spring. Before I get into my monthly update for our Ward, I wanted to share with you some exciting news that happened recently in my life. On Valentine’s Day February 14th, I got engaged to the love of my life at the Greater Cleveland Aquarium with the help of some divers to pop the big question. Wedding to be held sometime in the summer of 2016. My Fiancee Marissa, her son Henry, and I look forward to our soon to be family calling Ward 3 our home with the rest of your families too!

On January 5th I pulled my petitions from the Board of Elections to seek a second elected term on the North Royalton City Council. Read More. I want to keep the positive momentum taking place here in North Royalton through my experience, dedication and proven record of service to my residents. Over the next several months I will be going door to door throughout our entire ward to meet with residents. Councilman Dan Langshaw Committed to Second Term of Service

(North Royalton, Ohio)—Ward 3 Councilman Dan Langshaw has pulled petitions to commit to a second elected term on the North Royalton City Council. Langshaw first came into office by being appointed due to a vacancy on March 28, 2013 and then later was elected to a two year term of his own November 5, 2013. He is excited to continue to serve over 5,500 residents that call Ward 3 home. Langshaw wants to keep the positive momentum taking place in North Royalton through his experience, dedication and proven record of service to his residents.

Just wanted to give you a quick update before all the holiday festivities commence.
Rumpke Waste & Recycling Christmas Holiday Schedule
Service will NOT occur on Thursday, December 25th due to the Christmas holiday. Service will be delayed one day for the rest of the week which means Thursday service will move to Friday and Friday service will move to Saturday. Rumpke will return to its regular collection schedule the week after New Year’s. If you have any questions, you can contact Rumpke directly at 1-800-828-8171.

Just wanted to give you a quick update on some important items and upcoming events before the Thanksgiving Holiday.
Resident Feedback Needed for Online Sidewalk Survey
On November 6th, representatives from Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency (NOACA) gave a presentation at North Royalton City Hall pertaining to the North Royalton Alternative Transportation Plan. At the end of the presentation, they distributed a survey and asked that residents complete the survey and return to NOACA. The results of the survey will assist in determining priority improvements in the city, including sidewalks.
