Ward 3 Quick Update: February 17, 2020

Ward 3 Resident,

Hope everyone has a great Presidents Day Holiday today! Just a few quick items to update you on below!

Trash & Recycle Collection NO DELAY

There is NO DELAY in rubbish or recycling collection on President’s Day February 17th. Your regular pick up day will be as normal this week. Please share this with any of your fellow neighbors who may not get my Ward Updates. If you have any issues or concerns regarding your pick up, please contact the City Service Department at 440-582-3002.

Abbey Road Bridge
Some important information for Ward 3 Residents who live near or off of Abbey Road. The Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission has announced it will be conducting the bridge deck replacement and rehabilitation of the Abbey Road bridge that is near RT 82. In order to perform these repairs, road closures will be required for a period of approximately four months beginning sometime in March. Detours will be implemented during that time frame to divert traffic. Notice of Closure signs will be erected at least 21 days in advance of the scheduled closure to alert motorists. I will keep you posted when I have information available to share.

Have a great rest of the week!

Winter is in full swing. Just a friendly reminder about snow parking bans and where to find out if one is in effect. A snow parking ban pertains to all city streets is not cancelled until a North Royalton Police Department supervisor deems all roads safe and clear, which typically occurs after snow plow operations have been completed. Violators of the snow parking ban are subject to parking citations and/or impoundment of their vehicles. If you like to find out if a snow parking ban is in place you can check out the NRPD Facebook page. You can also see updates in the Facebook and Twitter feed portions of my website’s homepage at www.danlangshaw.com

Ward 3 E-Newsletter: November 2019

Greetings Ward 3 Resident,

Although the holiday season is close upon us, things continue to remain relatively busy here in city government as we start to prepare for the 2020 transition with a majority of new City Council members and Mayor. I want to offer my sincere congratulations to Mayor-Elect Larry Antoskiewicz Read More and all the newly elected members of City Council that were elected in the November 5th General Election. Read More.

Thank You Ward 3!

Ralph Regula one of Ohio’s longest-serving members of the United States Congress was known for his legacy of putting constituents first. He once said “It gives me a lot of satisfaction to help someone with a problem. My home telephone’s in the book. I never had an unlisted number because I think it’s important that people have access.” Like the late Congressman Regula constituent service comes first to me. I truly love what I do to help all of you residents when you need me and making a positive difference in the lives of so many Ward 3 residents and our community! My sons Henry, Derek, and I want to thank all of you for recently on November 5th electing me to serve another two-year term on City Council. It is my greatest honor to continue to serve the over 5,500 residents that call North Royalton Ward 3 home and being their voice on City Council. In 2020 I will be one of the most senior members of City Council. I am excited as a leader to use my experience and energy to work with my newly elected colleagues on Council and Mayor to do some exciting new things to move our city forward even more. In January I will be officially sworn in for my fourth elected term on City Council. Again thank you!

Have a great rest of the week!
